Hello good soul,
Building on the Living Your Own Truth theme from last time, this blog focuses on Authenticity and Self-Deception, with the main article focusing on the dangers of buying into whatever story we tell ourselves about who we are.
This month I’ve been confronted with how easy it is to lie to ourselves and, as a result, to those around us. Reality has a way of catching up with us when we get lost in our own narratives of what is going on. This can be painful, as we realise the identity we had constructed is an illusion, or at least incomplete, and we have to reckon with who we actually are and how we really show up.
Ultimately, I am grateful for being given a reminder of my own bullshit. Here’s to mistakes, so long as we can learn from them.
Enjoy!
